Spotify Playlist time!

I figured I'd list out my Spotify playlists here for fun! Say what they are, link to them and give a little bit of backstory. Suffice to say, all my playlists are works in progress. As of right now, I need to design covers for them so it's not just the album art of whatever 4 songs happen to be listed first. These aren't designed to be listened to in any order, they aren't 'mixtapes' or whatever. Just judge the vibe, stick them on shuffle, job done. If I drastically change my playlists, how many I've got or I delete them or something, I'll write another blog and link it here. If not, these are apparently all the groupings of music I need. I dount that though.

For the Girls

Every guy has his "basic white girl" playlist. This is mine.

808s

It's a mixture of grime, drill, rap. All that kind of thing. Is 808s a representive name? Not really, but I couldn't think of a better one.

Uncracked Eggs

This is my hyperpop playlist! Naturally, it's got a bit of phonk and a bit of kpop but it's very 'internety' as it were. The name? Well that would spoil the joke.

Regulation

The idea of this one was chill/vibey music. It's supposed to be background music, noise basically. I have a feeling the identity of this one isn't fully formed yet but I shall see. An emotional regulator was the idea. Hence the name.

I Had an Older Sister That Bought Kerrang! Magazine

It's a lot of punk pop, pop rock, midwest emo stuff. In case you were wondering, yes, my older stepsister did used to buy Kerrang! magazine.

Fragrant Harbour

Kpop, jpop and songs that are hits in Jakarta apparently (idk I looked at the monthly listeners of some of the artists and Jakarta is their top city). The name is the literal translation of Hong Kong. It starts of with a very famous cantopop song and I wasn't creative enough to come up with anything else.

Memories and Mistakes

A playlist of songs that mean something to me and to others. I wanted them all in one place as a weapon of self-torture I guess? I'm sure some psychologist could tell you

My Playlist #6

This was a playlist I made from a setlist of a Carly Rae Jepson concert I went to. I currently use it as my alarm on my phone to wake up to. I never changed the name and now it's staying.

Liked Songs

Spotify doesn't let you share your liked songs but as it was all I used before the creation of these playlists, I needed a way to access it when using someone elses account. At a house party or whatever, so I routinely add my liked songs to this playlist.
